Let us think about respect for just a minute or so.
Do you want people to show respect for you as a person even though they may not know you? Of course you do, and so do all of the people you meet in your daily life.
If we were to respect each other the world would be a totally different place to live.
Can you imagine us dealing with each other respectfully? What would the highways be like? People don’t generally cut in front of you in a movie theater line, but on the highways, well that is another situation altogether.
What would our relations with other countries, religions, races, sexes, children, elderly people, and poor people be. Certainly better. Literally every relationship we have should be dealt with from a point of mutual respect.
Respect is what this site will be about. It will highlight and report on matters of respect from around the world. Both good and bad.
Let’s see where this journey will lead us.
